Accessibility

serviabertis has made its website accessible to disabled visitors. This initiative forms part of abertis' priority to promote people's wellbeing. In addition, meeting this goal also responds to the suggestions made at the different forums and corporate social responsibility programmes in which the corporation participates.

The serviabertis website has been set up with AA-level accessibility, in accordance with the internationally recognised guidelines set out by the Web Accessibility Initiative, which ensures people with visual, hearing, physical, cognitive, neurological and technological impairments can make full use of this site.

Technical features
This website meets a series of technical requirements which ensure disabled people can easily access the content of the webpages, including the following:

  • The graphical features are complemented with text alternatives so users who cannot make use of the visual content on the webpages can still interact with the site without any problems.
  • Users can adjust the size of the content by using the browser options to enlarge or reduce texts.
  • There are alternative keyboard access options for people unable to use a mouse.
  • The webpages are clearly structured for both users who can see all the content and those who use a screen reader or deactivate style sheets, etc. With this aim in mind, the section headings, lists and all other elements that help general comprehension of the website are defined in HTML code.
  • The HTML code and CSS used can adjust to formal grammars to ensure correct visualisation on different browsers.
